What was expected to be the “best day of” Sydney Sweeney‘s character Cassie Howard‘s life on “Euphoria” turned out to be the wedding from hell, but at least she had on an epic shoe. HBO aired the third episode of the show’s third season on Sunday, titled “The Ballad of Paladin,” and fans finally got to see the moment they had been impatiently waiting for.

The episode centered around Sweeney’s character and Jacob Elordi’s Nate Jacobs’ wedding. The pair were high school sweethearts, after they got together when Nate broke up with Maddie — Cassie’s former best friend. The wedding was anticipated to be of epic proportions, with Cassie estimating that she needed around $50,000 just for flowers. Even if the wedding quickly went downhill for all parties involved, their looks made it all worthwhile.
As expected, the fashion was on a different level for the episode. The show started with the cast as high school students, but now in their 20s, they have elevated their style. The bride wore a Wiederhoeft spring 2025 corset wedding dress with Jimmy Choo Max platform sandals in white.

The Max sandals, which are a wedding and red carpet favorite, are defined by their sculptural chunky platform, a dramatic pin-thin stiletto heel and a delicate ankle strap. The shoe is propped on a towering heel that measures 150mm, which is nearly six inches, and provides a dramatic height boost.
The Max sandals are not currently available on the Jimmy Choo website, but the luxury footwear brand has a made-to-order option available for the style. Cassie also wore the Jimmy Choo Skye mules in white with a powder blue Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini Floral Mini Dress for the fictional couple’s engagement photos shoot.
Sweeney has served as the face of two shoe campaigns for Jimmy Choo, starring in both its fall 2025 and the spring 2024 campaign. Similarly, Elordi, who was officially named a global brand ambassador for Bottega Veneta in May 2024, wore the Bottega Veneta Derby Tie dress shoes in woven brushed leather for the wedding scenes.

Zendaya’s character, Rue Bennett, kept it consistent, walking into the wedding in an pair of ultra-worn Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers in black. She dressed up for the event in an oversized power blue suit with a white button-down shirt. Rue stepped into the event alongside Jules Vaughn, played by Hunter Schaffer, who wore an Acne Studios spring 2023 naked dress, also in light blue, with matching pointed-toe pumps.
Maddie, played by Alexa Demie, stepped inside her ex-boyfriend and ex best friend’s wedding in Saint Laurent Babylone mules with a custom dress in green made by Natasha Newman-Thomas, who is the new costume designer for “Euphoria.”
“Euphoria” Season Three premiered on April 12 after a four-year hiatus. New episodes of the eight-episode season air weekly on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on both HBO and Max. The season features a time jump, following the characters years after the events of Season Two.
