Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Brick After Brick’ Giveaway

It’s shaping up to be a Nigel Sylvester summer.

With the BMX pro’s latest Air Jordan 4 collaboration expected to be released next month, Sylvester and Nike, Inc.’s Jordan Brand are going all-in on the rollout.

Revealed Thursday in New York City is a new art installation titled “The Weight of Progress” depicting a black BMW being crushed by a giant, 500-pound brick sculpture outside of jeweler Greg Yuna’s Mulberry Street storefront.

The “brick” object was the handiwork of New York-based artist Fridge and according to Sylvester, it “symbolizes the wins, challenges and obstacles that come with achieving a goal and sustaining success.”

For those who can’t make it to see the sculpture in person, there are still ways to get in on the Brick After Brick action. To coincide with the unveiling of the installation, Sylvester launched a new Brick After Brick mobile game.

The Tetris-inspired video game can be accessed from both desktop and mobile devices and will require players to demonstrate “consistency and discipline” to outdo the competition. For the next three weeks, the top scorer on the Brick After Brick game will receive a free pair ahead of the official May release date.

2026’s Brick After Brick collaboration comes on the heels of Sylvester’s brick-colored Brick by Brick Air Jordan 4, which was released last year and was widely acclaimed as one of the top sneakers of 2025. While still early in the launch process, it looks like the upcoming Brick After Brick iteration will be met with similar enthusiasm.

Ahead of the reveal from Sylvester himself, none other than Michael Jordan was spotted wearing the unreleased Brick After Brick collaboration in what was the public’s first full look at the shoe.

An exact release date for the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Brick After Brick has not yet been confirmed, but the anticipated sneaker is expected to be released in May for $230 from Nike’s Snkrs app, nigelsylvester.com and select Jordan Brand retailers. The style code for the pair is IQ8055-100 and its full colorway is Sail/Cinnabar/Anthracite/Muslin.
