Sarah Jessica Parker represented New Yorkers and library lovers at an event hosted by Queen Camilla at the New York Public Library on Wednesday. Naturally, the “Sex and the City” star arrived to occasion in a unique and eye-grabbing pair of high heels.

Parker wore a pair of white or light pink, pointed-toe high heels that followed a traditional pump silhouette. However, the shoes featured a distinctive cage-like design on the vamp. The shoe featured seven slim straps in black that crossed and hugged the top of the foot, with a white detail on the vamp that traveled vertically up the foot.
At a glance, the shoes were white but revealed hints of a soft and light pink from different angles, especially when paired with a pink midlength coat that she wore over a white polka-dot silk midi dress featuring a classic collar and double-breasted button detailing. She decorated her neckline with a pink jeweled necklace.

Queen Camilla visited the New York Public Library wearing a bespoke navy blue midi dress, distinguished by its intricate bodice embroidery. She paired the A-line dress with black almond toe pumps with a conservative heel. Parker, who is an avid reader and supporter of literature, was her guide through the library, along with Anna Wintour and other big names in the U.K. and U.S. publishing and literary circles.

The British royal visited the library for a celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the publication of the beloved “Winnie-the-Pooh” children’s book. She gifted the library a brand-new Roo doll that’s set to join the library’s famous collection of original Winnie the Pooh dolls.
School-aged children were also invited to the event and the royal read them an excerpt from the book. The visit was part of day three of the royal’s state visit with King Charles III to the United States.

King Charles skipped the library event to support another initiative nearby. The king met with children who are part of Harlem Grown, a local community organization and after-school initiative tackling systemic health, education and well-being challenges faced by children and families in Upper Manhattan.
