Spinelli Kilcollin, the Los Angeles-based fine jewelry brand known for its interconnected rings and architectural approach to design, offered a preview of its next chapter on Wednesday night.
Founders Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin hosted an after-hours gathering in a former gallery space soon to become the label’s 5,000-square-foot flagship at 747 North Western Avenue, cohosted with DJs and Simihaze Beauty founders, twins Simi and Haze Khadra.
The setting remained raw and unfinished, with exposed surfaces. Spinelli Kilcollin has expanded in recent years from a design-focused jewelry studio into a broader cultural brand with growing retail ambitions and additional stores in New York’s SoHo shopping district as well as the Mayfair area of London.
“Last year was our 15th year in business,” said Kilcollin, adding that the party was a celebration of “the hard work and the road we took to arrive where we are. This year feels like we’re being born all over again in the best way.”
The new flagship will house a design studio, a larger creative studio and offices, alongside a dedicated record room featuring Spinelli’s vinyl collection, speakers and amplifiers. While primary production will remain in the downtown L.A.’s jewelry district, the space will house key aspects of the brand’s operations and creative output.
Held between Coachella weekends, the guest list reflected the brand’s reach across music, fashion and art. There were a slew of musicians and rappers, including Lizzo, Aminé, Bakar, Giveon, Central Cee, Beck, Kaytranada and A$AP Nast, as well as names in the K-pop sphere, notably Jennie of Blackpink and Lara Raj and Sophia Laforteza of Katseye. Also out for the party were models Kaia Gerber and Salem Mitchell; photographer Renell Medrano; Guram Gvasalia of Vetements, and Guillermo Andrade of 424.
As for what’s next, Kilcollin said: “We’ve always thought of Spinelli Kilcollin as an entity that we are building up. It’s a cultural, artistic and entrepreneurial project, a platform to engage with the world…Our 2026 theme for jewelry is ‘live now, polish later.’ The focus is on being yourself and being true to your own drive, wherever that takes you. So far this year we’ve done campaigns with galloping horses in the snow in Kazakhstan, a parkour-style dance piece set in Manhattan, and we have a desert motorcycle shoot coming out later this month.”
At the party, guests arrived via Waymo’s driverless fleet and walked through a series of installations, including floor-to-ceiling speaker walls, a mylar-wrapped dance floor and a metal-colored bounce house, as well as a claw machine stocked with Spinelli Kilcollin rings. They enjoyed cocktails from partners House of Suntory and Chase Bank, and a DJ lineup featuring Kaytranada, Pedro and HiTech.
Kilcollin said Spinelli Kilcollin will continue to host parties, events and activations while bringing more of its creative process into view.
