Zverev, de Minaur Lead Tennis Style Showcase at Madrid Open

The Association of Tennis Professionals brought its Athlete Arrivals series to the Mutua Madrid Open, the latest stop in a growing fashion initiative that has players showing off their off-court style as they arrive at tournaments.

Six players took part in the fashion showcase in Madrid: Zizou Bergs, Alex de Minaur, Alexander Zverev, Gabriel Diallo, Ethan Quinn and Matteo Arnaldi, each stepping out in styled looks ahead of their matches at the Caja Magica.

Athlete arrivals have become a staple of sports culture, with leagues increasingly using them as a way to showcase their players’ personalities off the field. The NBA pioneered the moment, but the NFL and MLB have since followed suit. The ATP, the global governing body of men’s professional tennis, introduced its Athlete Arrivals series in Indian Wells, Calif., in March, followed by a second event in Miami.

The 2026 Mutua Madrid Open is being held at the Caja Mágica through May 3, as part of the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tours.
