Zoe Saldaña turned the 2026 Time100 Gala into a stylish date night with husband, artist
Marco Perego. The Oscar winner was outfitted in Givenchy for the gala, which celebrated the magazine’s annual list of the world’s most influential people and was held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Thursday in New York.

For the event, Saldaña wore a pair of black patent leather T-strap sandals from the Givenchy fall 2026 collection. The shoes are fresh off the runway, and made their debut at the Givenchy fall 2026 ready-to-wear show at Paris Fashion Week in March. The heels feature a classic T-strap design with a thin vertical band running up the center of the foot.
They are made from glossy black patent leather and feature a dramatically sharp square toe. While at first glance they seem like traditional strappy sandals, one notable element is the feather trim detail at the back of the heel, which adds texture and a stylish touch to the sleek silhouette.

The sandals have a delicate ankle strap around the ankle and balance on a thin stiletto heel. The overall look was styled by Petra Flannery, who paired these statement heels with a black, one-shoulder gown, also from Givenchy’s fall 2026 collection.
The bow draped velvet dress featured ribbon embroidery on the ruffles that swirled down the front of the dress, which featured a calf-length silhouette, with a high slit at the center that gave the shoes the opportunity to take center stage. The look was styled similarly on the runway. The collection was designed by Sarah Burton.
