Zoe Saldaña Wears Saint Laurent Slingbacks at Vanity Fair 2026

Zoe Saldaña closed out Oscars night in another Saint Laurent lace look, this time grounded by the label’s pointed patent slingbacks.

At the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at LACMA on Sunday, Saldaña changed out of the black lace-and-satin Saint Laurent gown she wore to the 98th Academy Awards and into a shorter Anthony Vaccarello look: a sheer long-sleeved minidress covered in dense dark embroidery over a nude base, finished with Saint Laurent’s P.A.R.I.S. slingback pumps in patent leather. The label lists the style in its Concrete colorway with a pointed toe and a lacquered metal stiletto heel, priced at $2,350.

The shoes kept the palette light but sharpened the finish. Saldaña’s pair used a high-cut vamp, a long pointed toe and a slim slingback strap, with glossy patent leather pushing the neutral tone closer to stone than beige. The heel read narrow and high, giving the shoe a cleaner, more exact effect than the satin sandals and platforms she has been wearing through much of the last year.

That switch also tracked with her recent footwear run. In December, Saldaña wore Paris Texas’s Lidia patent-leather slingback pumps for a “Good Morning America” appearance in New York. Earlier that month, she stayed with Saint Laurent for the “Avatar: Fire and Ash” press tour, wearing Chandelle sandals at the China and Los Angeles premieres and La Scandale platform sandals with a custom Balmain gown in Paris.

Saldaña’s Saint Laurent run has extended well beyond Oscars night. The house co-produced “Emilia Pérez,” and she also appeared in its spring 2025 campaign.

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party entered its 31st year on Sunday and moved to LACMA for the first time. Held after the 98th Academy Awards, the invitation-only event remained one of Oscars night’s most watched late stops, drawing actors, musicians, nominees and presenters to the publication’s annual celebration.
