Celtics
Outfits inspired by workwear and minimalist aesthetics showcased a mindset of discipline, focus, and readiness to excel.

The Celtics made a stylish entrance for the evening. As they walked down the “JetBlue Runway” prior to their home game against the Orlando Magic, their attire conveyed one clear message: It’s time to get to work.
However, the fashion choices likely prioritized practicality over grand statements. Utility-inspired trousers, simple monochrome outfits, and sneakers: the team’s looks embodied the strong work ethic necessary to tackle a tough Magic team.
Their clothing represented a mindset of grit and determination, cutting through distractions and concentrating on victory — particularly during the first half.
The team’s utilitarian chic style highlighted discipline, resolve, and the ability to refocus on their goals.
Jayson Tatum epitomized this with his Revolve TRA Wylie Jean in Vintage Khaki. The cargo cut and 100% cotton material resembled Carhartt dungarees, signaling “I’m working hard, not hardly working.”
This rugged style mirrored his leadership on the court, as he scored 30 points while showcasing durability and dependability akin to quality workwear, contributing to the 121-94 victory.
“Living in the paint during the second quarter,” noted Celtics play-by-play announcer Drew Carter about Tatum’s influence by halftime, when the team had a 12-point lead.
Kristaps Porzingis kept it understated, opting for gym basics that complemented his straightforward, serious demeanor.
His gameplay reflected his attire—disciplined and efficient. Porzingis quickly made an impact, netting the team’s first field goal off a Holiday assist. “He is laser-focused right now,” remarked Celtics analyst Brian Scalabrine.
Holiday showcased a functional yet stylish approach with his urban workgear meets labor rights ensemble, featuring an all-black outfit accented by a trendy burgundy puffer vest—a key piece in utility chic fashion.
Jaylen Brown, with his hood up and focused demeanor, put in extra effort, showcasing his signature basketball sneaker. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit alongside game readiness, Brown sported the 741 with white soles and the signature iridescent Black Moon, subtly reflecting hues of Action Green.
The Celtics played with intent, maintaining a steady lead and regaining their momentum and energy.
They brought their “werk” both on the runway and the court. Persistence, perseverance, performance, and personality came together to facilitate a much-needed rebound after a challenging period.
In a post-game interview, NBC Sports Boston’s Abby Chin asked Jaylen Brown, “How do you carry this momentum into the next game?” The Celtics will take on the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday for the second game in a back-to-back. “Just get ready for the next one,” Brown affirmed.
