The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) is transforming its Fashion Gallery into a new space called The Burberry Gallery, supported by a partnership with Burberry. The renovation, which begins in May, will allow the V&A to showcase its global fashion collections and contemporary designers. The Fashion Gallery has not been updated since the 1960s, and the V&A aims to make the most of this opportunity. The partnership with Burberry, a British fashion brand, will help celebrate the richness and diversity of the V&A’s fashion collections. The new space is expected to reopen in the spring of 2027.
The Victoria and Albert Museum’s Fashion Wing will be rebranded as the Burberry Gallery after a major transformation.
