It seems like every year, there’s an It-girl signature perfume note that defines the season. A few years back, it was ambroxan, popularized by Baccarat Rouge 540; then the vanilla-gourmand trend took the industry by storm, and at one point, there was even a cherry renaissance. For 2026, it appears that peach notes are on track to dominate the world of perfumery.
“Peach is very regressive and revives childhood memories at moments we need comfort and joyful memories,” senior perfumer at CPL Aromas, Julienne Rasquinet, tells me. “Peach is also very versatile and complements many different olfactive families.”
It makes sense. Not only is the weather warming up—which always bodes well for citrus and fruity notes in general—but it’s another take on the ongoing gourmand boom that continues to dominate the fragrance world. A peach note can really run the gamut of the olfactive family, depending on the nose behind the scent. I’ve come across interpretations that follow the traditional route, highlighting the fruit’s sweeter, juicier qualities. Others go the sultry route, combining the ingredient with elements like leather, saffron, and sandalwood. One thing’s for certain—peach perfumes are incredibly versatile, which may be one of its ultimate selling points.
“It blends naturally in white florals by enhancing their milky character with a more juicy and uplifting notes,” Rasquinet says. “But it also works very well in woody or musky notes.”
Even if you don’t consider yourself a fruity fragrance connoisseur, there are so many different interpretations of peach perfumes out there that I truly believe there’s something for even the pickiest noses. Guerlain
L’art & La MatiÈre Péche Mirage
First up: Guerlain’s Pêche Mirage. I fell firmly into the “I love it” camp, particularly for the intoxicating leather note running through the fragrance. It’s flanked by osmanthus, sandalwood, amber, and, of course, peach. The combination is heady and sensual—and easily one of the most unconventional peach perfumes I’ve tried.
Leave it to the queen of gourmands, Mona Kattan, to make one of the most delicious-smelling peach perfumes on the market. Eden sweet peach is bright, creamy, and musky, thanks to, of course, peach, red apple, and frangipani. The musky dry down adds the perfect finishing touch to the unexpectedly creamy perfume.
Phlur
Peach Skin Body & Hair Fragrance Mist
If you prefer something lighter, specifically in terms of formulation, a body spray might be your best bet. Still, don’t let the fragrance format fool you—Phlur’s body mists offer a solid performance (I get about five hours of wear before I notice fading). Peach Skin in particular will have you smelling like peaches, vanilla orchids, and white freesia, the perfect scent for the warm months and beach days ahead.
Tom Ford
Bitter Peach Eau De Parfum
My mother pried this perfume out of my hands after I told her multiple times she couldn’t have it—that’s how obsessed we both are with Tom Ford Bitter Peach. Not only is the bottle adorable, but the scent itself is a citrusy dream. Peche de vigne (vineyard peach), blood orange, and patchouli are combined for a scent that feels like a warm seasonal transition. That is to say, it’s fruity, a little tart, and unexpectedly heady, perfect for anyone who likes a citrus perfume with depth.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Kurky Eau De Parfum
Kurky was the most unexpected addition to the Maison Francis Kurkdjian line, and somehow, it’s one of my favorites from the entire collection. The peach note is part of what the brand calls a “tutti frutti” accord, which also includes orange, pear, raspberry, and blackberry notes. White musk, vanilla, and sandalwood round out the formula, which was created to evoke moments from Kurkdjian’s childhood.
Lancôme
Idole Peach ‘n Roses Eau De Parfum
If fruity florals are your thing, Lancome’s Idole Peach ‘N Roses might be right up your alley. Red berries and rose flank the pear note in a juice that is a gorgeous orange color, which the brand says is meant to mimic the sunset. The scent will give a similar vibe; it’s warm, sweet, and head-turning, perfect for compliments galore.
Brown Girl Jane
Peach Aura Eau De Parfum
Want a little more of a kick to your peach perfume? Brown Girl Jane’s Peach Aura might be what you’re looking for. Raspberry is one of my favorite notes in perfumes, and not only is it featured in this scent, but so is pink currant, lychee, and, of course, peach.

Peachy Glow Eau De Parfum
Unexpectedly playful, Dior’s Peachy Glow formula is a lighter and airier interpretation of the note. Jasmine, vanilla whipped cream, and peach notes are all combined in the cutest packaging that mimics the brand’s iconic tinted lip balms.
Jimmy Choo
I Want Choo Eau De Parfum
My best friend is the person who told me to try this perfume, and I am forever grateful that I listened to her. It falls a bit more on the floral side of the spectrum, thanks to the red spider lily and jasmine notes, but mandarin juice, velvet peach, and vanilla facets keep it rich and grounded.
