Stripes Beauty, the wellness brand founded by Naomi Watts, is partnering with Canyon Ranch to introduce a series of treatments designed for women navigating midlife and menopause.
Rolling out first to Canyon Ranch’s Tucson, Ariz., and Lenox, Mass., resorts, the collaboration brings Stripes Beauty products into spa environments.
Canyon Ranch guests can choose from curated treatments featuring Stripes Beauty products for skin, scalp and overall well-being. Treatment options include Hormonal Support Massage, $250 with Stripes Beauty’s Rich & Tight Ultra Hydrating & Firming Peptide Body Butter and Full Monty Vitamin C Oil, and Root & Crown Renewal Ritual, $150, with Stripes Beauty’s The Crown Pleaser Hydrating Hair Mask and The Root of It Ectoine Thickening Scalp Serum.
Katie Mulligan, senior vice president of spa, beauty and retail at Canyon Ranch, said: “We were really inspired when the Stripes team first came to Canyon Ranch and hearing more about Naomi’s philosophy around midlife, and we see guests every day that are meeting with our medical providers and our providers in the spa and talking about new aches and pains or confidence or skin issues. Our team was really blown away by the results that we saw both with the scalp and hair products, as well as with the body treatment products. So we married that with the knowledge and the science that our Canyon Ranch team has around what physiologically happens to women’s bodies in midlife.”
The collaboration will also be featured at Canyon Ranch’s Enchant at the Ranch beauty and wellness festival on April 19 to 23 in Tucson.
According to Cara Kamenev, chief executive officer and president of Stripes, it’s no easy task to get products into Canyon Ranch.
“They don’t just take any products, and say, this will be a menopause product. We submitted our clinical results. All of our products are clinically tested. They have real results and real feedback from consumers that have also been validated by doctors and in the labs. And then they further test with their treatment providers, with their own internal processes. So we love that rigor. We welcome it. It’s how we continue to build our brand and innovate,” Kamenev said.
Leena Jain, chief marketing officer at Canyon Ranch, added: “This took us about one year to bring together.”
Later this year, the treatments will land in Austin when Canyon Ranch opens up there.
“We’re excited there will be more to come in this partnership,” Kamenev said. “We will be bringing Naomi on site in the future and build around the brand. This is really the start. We’re both very much committed to building in the long term and creating this space and place where women can come together, where treatment is accessible and where care is normalized.”
L Catterton acquired Stripes Beauty in 2024. It was originally founded in 2022 in collaboration with Amyris, which later filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
