Sofia Vergara brought one of her sartorial signatures, a pair of platform sandals, to the “America’s Got Talent” season 21 media day on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

The returning host dressed up for the occasion in a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sandals with rows of crystal strass embellishing the shoe all over. Relatively simple in silhouette, the style featured an almond toe, a toe strap of medium width and a slender ankle strap. Meanwhile, the sandal is elevated by a soaring stiletto heel. A style she’s worn before, on this occasion the shoes accompanied a black dress with prominent corset boning at the bodice, a sweetheart neckline and a pencil skirt.
Vergara has made platform heels a fixture of her red carpet looks, whether it’s a minimalist black pair accompanying a leopard print dress or a brown mesh Aquazzura set paired with a strapless leather dress. Dolce & Gabbana is a brand she often reaches for when it comes to platforms and beyond.

This year, she starred in the brand’s Super Bowl ad, which features her tossing away her “useless” sneakers into a pool in favor of Skechers’ Hands Free Slip-ins.
