A new exhibition, “Snoopy in Style,” has opened in Paris, celebrating the 75th anniversary of Snoopy and the Peanuts comic strip crew. The show features a range of fashion designs from streetwear to couture houses, as well as rare and iconic costumes. The exhibition explores the history of Snoopy’s rise to fashion icon, from his first appearance in 1950 to his current status as a global cultural phenomenon. The Peanuts company, in collaboration with designer Connie Boucher, has worked with fashion houses to create Snoopy merchandise and exhibitions, making him a recognizable character worldwide, with 80-90% of people in major markets recognizing him. The exhibition runs from March 22 to April 5 at the Hotel du Grand Veneur in the Marais neighborhood.
