The Sexual Assault Resource Center of the Brazos Valley (SARC) hosted its annual fashion show to raise awareness and empower survivors of sexual assault. The event featured survivors and advocates walking the runway in clothing that is often associated with sexual assault, such as pajamas or scrubs. SARC’s president, Lori Charles, emphasized that the fashion show aims to dispel myths and remind people that sexual assault is never justified, regardless of what someone is wearing. The event brought the community together to support survivors and spark important conversations about sexual violence.
