First lady Melania Trump stepped out in her signature Manolo Blahnik BB pumps for the State Arrival Ceremony on the South Lawn, held on day two of King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s state visit to Washington, D.C. The ivory python leather heels anchored her all-white ensemble as the royals were formally welcomed with a traditional military ceremony at the White House, the highest diplomatic honor for a visiting head of state.

Melania paired the Manolo Blahnik shoes with a Ralph Lauren look. She opted for the Manolo Blahnik BB pumps design for the outing.
The pumps feature a stiletto high heel measuring around four inches. The court shoes are defined by their refined low-cut vamp that leads into a pointed toe. Blahnik designed the “BB” pump, which is named after Brigitte Bardot, in 2008, and it became a signature style for the brand and a favorite for Trump.

For the event on Tuesday, she paired the classic shoes with a Ralph Lauren Collection silk-and-wool suit, also in ivory and an Eric Javitz Straw Boater hat. On Monday, Trump welcomed the king and queen in a pair of Manolo Blahniks in black and white python leather.

They also appeared to be the BB style, with a pointed toe and a four-inch heel. She wore a bespoke Adam Lippes double-breasted skirt suit in a light butter yellow color.
As part of the visit, President Trump and King Charles III will participate in a number of activities following the official gift exchange and White House guest book signing. Their activities will also include a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office, with the king later addressing a joint meeting of the United States Congress.
