“It would have been great to see and meet people like Denzel Washington live,” he told Italian publication Corriere Della Sera, adding, “It means I really have to produce another movie.”
Of course, being a no-show wasn’t an option for Oscars host Conan O’Brien. In fact, the comedian—who previously emceed the 2025 ceremony—recently joked about his strategy to ensure he arrived to the venue on time.
“This year, I’m gonna use Google Maps,” he said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published March 9. “Last year I tried to wing it—almost missed the show. I need to be there and show up, and not showing up in show business can follow you for a long time. It’s hard to get work after that.”
