Kerry Washington took the dark glamour trend and elevated it with a modern interpretation in Zuhair Murad for the “Imperfect Women” premiere on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
The “Scandal” alum wore a sheer black lace ensemble from the pre-fall 2026 collection. The look was crafted with long sleeves and ’70s-inspired wide-leg, flowing pants. All over the sheer fabric of the garment, detailed floral elements featured throughout, harkening back to those quintessential dark glamour qualities.

Beneath the top and pants of the look, Washington sported a corseted bodice with boudoir inspiration. A scalloped neckline and exposed boning heightened the sensual piece, further modernizing Washington’s dark glamour attire. As for accessories, the “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” star wore delicate rings and statement earrings by Messika.
When it came to glam, Washington turned to stylist Rio Sreedharan for her side-part hair, with volume and a soft curls. Makeup artist Kenneth Soh gave Washington a classic glamour look, complete with bold brows, smokey eyes and a glossy lip. Washington’s red carpet look was curated by styling team Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi.

Zuhair Murad’s pre-fall 2026 collection debuted at the top of the year in January with an eye toward Paris’ Golden Age. “Murad pored over images of women walking through winter gardens to capture romantic prints as a reference point that he weaved throughout the collection — a softer take on the bold florals he favors,” Rhonda Richford wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“Silhouettes ranged from sharply tailored pieces to softer, more romantic forms, including the dramatic evening and ballgowns in velvet, lace, satin and chiffon in a palette of pale rose, brown, black, burgundy, plus a striking and on-trend absinthe green,” Richford wrote of the collection’s highlights.
