How to Copy Lila Moss’ “Sun-Kissed” Oscars Party Look

I love The Oscars a whole lot. But you know what’s even more fun than the ceremony? Going to bed exhausted after a four-ish hour broadcast and waking up in the morning to news of all the gorgeous looks that happened while I was sleeping. The after parties are always something to behold.

Take Lila Moss’ situation, for example. Though she wasn’t at the show itself (an amazing setup if you don’t want to start glam at like, 8 a.m.), she turned up afterward at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The model arrived at LACMA in a plunging red dress and soft, toasty makeup—and we have all the details on the look from the model herself.

With her long “fawn blonde” hair middle parted and styled in ultra-soft waves, Moss went low-key with the makeup.

“My beauty look makes me feel like the best version of myself: confident and carpet ready,” she tells Byrdie exclusively.

Instead of adding a bunch of “whimsical” shimmer or gloss, her complexion was slightly dewy with freckles peeking through and a touch of bronzer. A nice dose of mascara and some smoky brown shadow lit up her green eyes, while her lips were blurry and pink thanks to a swipe of YSL’s new Lovenude Lip Blusher—the final touch before the cameras began to flash.

The Inspiration

Makeup artist Leah Darcy said the look’s inspiration was “around a brown smoky eye and bringing a lot of warmth into the face.” Key products to make it all happen were bronzer and shades of the new YSL Couture Eyeshadow Palette Nude Hours.

“The new YSL Couture Eye Palette made my whole look come together, added with the new Kiss Shaper Lip Liner for the perfect finishing touch!” added Moss. “Smoky browns with YSL Beauty by Leah Darcy to complement my look. I love the way this came together!”

Get the Look

To perfect Moss’ complexion, the vision for which was “radiant, natural skin with a sun-kissed glow,” Darcy used YSL’s Touche Eclat Pen in shades 3 and 3.5 as a base “to build glowing, natural skin and to highlight and conceal with precision.” Then, she added some All Hours Bronzer in Shade 2 “to sculpt and bronze in lieu of a blush.”

For those “toasted nude eyes with long sculpted lashes,” the aforementioned palette was brought out alongside Lash Latex Lengthening & Sculpting Mascara.

Finally, the “blurred toasted lip” combo featured the soon-to-be-released Kiss Shaper Sculpting Lip Liner in shade 1 (you can shop it beginning March 23!) to define and sculpt the model’s pout and YSL Lovenude Lip Blusher shade 6 “to create a blurred nude pink lip.”
