Gracie Hunt is kicking off an exciting new era.
The 27-year-old daughter of billionaire Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt announced her engagement to Derek Green—whose dad Trent Green was the team’s quarterback for five of his 15 seasons in the NFL—nearly one year after hard launching their romance on social media.
In a post on Instagram April 4, Gracie shared multiple photos of the outdoor proposal, where the couple were surrounded by white candles and flowers on a wooden deck. Derek, 26, got down on one knee in a light gray suit, while his bride-to-be wore a white floor-length dress.
As for Gracie’s new sparkler, one close-up pic offered a detailed glimpse at her emerald-cut ring, complete with diamonds along the band and a single emerald green stone.
“It was always you,” the football fanatic—who works in brand development and marketing for the Chiefs—wrote alongside her post, with her now-fiancé adding in a comment, “FOREVER AND EVER.”
