After making her runway debut in the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last October, Angel Reese is fronting the lingerie brand’s latest campaign, “The Season of Strapless.”
Centered around a new no-slip grip technology, the new edit was unveiled at the flagship at 640 Fifth Avenue on Tuesday morning in New York City, where Reese was seen sporting a pin-curl pixie cut, a LaQuan Smith gingham trench coat and FSJ slingbacks outside the front windows.

The launch marks the first time Victoria’s Secret has tapped a WNBA player to star in its collection campaign. It also comes less than a day after Reese was traded from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream, following two seasons.

In addition to the wear-tested technology, The Season of Strapless includes the Summer Swim Collection (featuring fresh designs) and the new Bombshell Bronze Eau de Parfum, available online and in stores Wednesday. The color palette, like the sun-soaked peony and mango scent, is rooted in deep brown tones and accentuated with bedazzled accents. Bra options range from padded with underwire and thick straps to bandeau style. Meanwhile, bikini bottoms are available in ribbed and seamless.

On the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway in October, the brand’s “Reawakening” show, Reese wore a silver René Caovilla sandal heels, a spliced pink T and a matching lace bra and underwear set. She was among a slew of next-gen stars and veteran angels on the catwalk that night, including Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Ashley Graham. Musical performances were delivered by Madison Beer, Karol G and TWICE. Held in Brooklyn with red carpet hosts Law Roach and Zanna Roberts Rassi, the show marked the second year of Victoria’s Secret’s return to the runway after a six-year hiatus.
