Flight Club was the name of an official Air Jordan fan club that ran in the late ’80s and early ’90s, offering members a seasonal newsletter and collectable items such as T-shirts and posters. An Air Jordan 4 referencing the club released earlier this year, and now an Air Jordan 1 will follow suit to make it a series.
The Air Jordan 1 “Flight Club” features a black denim upper with homages to its namesake hidden away on the interior. A nubuck base hosts denim overlays with white contrast stitching, and a metallic silver strip appears on the heel. Branding elements then arrive in white, while an eggshell tongue exposes its foam. Rounding out the exterior, a white midsole sits above an always-welcome gum outsole.
Overt Flight Club callouts come via the insoles, which feature a series of archival photos appearing across the left and right shoe with the club logo sitting at the heels.
Through in-line releases and several collaborations with Levi’s, denim has been frequently utilized by Nike and Jordan Brand through 2025 until now. A Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 capsule dropped in February, including a black pair quite similar to this Air Jordan 1, and a pink denim Air Jordan 4 will release exclusively for women and children in April.
The “Flight Club” collection could also wind up growing to include several other Air Jordan models, as last year’s “Rare Air” series comprised the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 11.
The Air Jordan 1 “Flight Club” will release April 11 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $185.
