Non-profit Age Well hosted a fashion show at the Burlington Country Club to raise money for Meals on Wheels, a service that provides over 300,000 meals annually to older Vermonters. The event, co-hosted with Black Martini Promotions, attracted 175 attendees. Commenting on the need for the service, 100-year-old Carolyn Bessette expressed concern about rising food prices, making it difficult for some to access meals. This was Age Well’s first-ever fashion show fundraiser, demonstrating the organization’s creative approach to supporting the community. The funds raised will help continue providing essential meals to aging Vermonters.
A passion for fashion and feeding is showcased in Age Well’s event.
