Demi Moore Signs With Lancôme as Global Ambassador

PARIS – Demi Moore has become Lancôme’snewest global ambassador.

“Lancôme stands for beauty on every level beyond just the surface,” Moore said in a statement. “It stands for progress, for the science of possibility, and for the belief that women deserve to feel beautiful and uplifted at every life stage.

“Learning to accept oneself is a journey, and it is my honor to partner with a house that celebrates the same spirit,” she continued. “Beauty is an act of self-care, self-love and self-acceptance, and that is what I hope to embody in our partnership.”

Vania Lacascade, Lancôme global brand president, called Moore “a true pioneer.”

“She spent the last five decades redefining what it means to age, and she’s always remained unapologetically herself,” Lacascade said.

According to the executive, Moore lives on her own terms and refuses to be confined by traditional beauty narratives.

“She has this strong sense of self and is making bold choices,” Lacascade said, adding Moore is “redefining continuously her life with intention. She has this relationship with time, with experience, and she can really talk about her evolution. She’s often talking about choosing who you become. That’s a perspective about what is essential.

“In a way, she has this form of optimism, as well, that is also grounded in her own experience,” Lacascade added. “She’s been reinventing herself… We like the way she’s embracing every chapter of her life.”

The Academy Award-nominated actress, producer and New York Times bestselling author’s career has spanned five decades. Her iconic roles include in “Ghost,” “A Few Good Men,” “Indecent Proposal” and “G.I. Jane.” More recently, her performance in “The Substance,” directed by Coralie Fargeat, earned Moore a Golden Globe, SAG and Critics’ Choice Award, as well as a BAFTA and an Academy Award nomination for best actress.

Moore returned for the second season of the series “Landman,” which has been renewed for a third season by Paramount+. She will appear in Neon’s “I Love Boosters,” directed by Boots Riley, slated for a May release. Moore will also star next to Colman Domingo in “Strange Arrivals,” directed by Roger Ross Williams.

For Lancôme, Moore is to first appear in a campaign for Reset, part of the brand’s Absolue Longevity MD skin care line. Its product formulas are centered on Longevity Integrative Science, billed to proactively improve the look of skin’s visible biological age.

Lancôme’s other brand ambassadors include Julia Roberts, Olivia Rodrigo, Christy Turlington, Isabella Rossellini, Aya Nakamura, Vanessa Kirby and Zoe Saldaña – named earlier this week.

Both Moore and Saldaña are to feature with Emma Chamberlain in the Absolue Longevity MD campaign.

“There will be the endorsement of this idea that longevity is for everyone, every generation,” Lacascade said. “It’s giving meaning to this innovation.”

Alongside the main campaign is content created by other Lancôme spokespeople about their vision of longevity. They’ve also been interviewed by the L’Oréal-owned brand’s advisory board of doctors.

Lacascade referred to Lancôme’s ambassadors as a “collective,” which represents “different faces of the modern community.”

“Vanessa Kirby is this form of thoughtful optimism, but that is deepened by sophistication,” Lacascade said, adding Turlington is more about self-care and wellness, while Roberts is a universal driver of optimism and radiant joy.

Rodrigo has “this kind of raw authenticity of the new generation,” Lacascade said. “She’s evolving in her life.”

Lancôme has a longstanding adoration for Rossellini, Nakamura exudes an unapologetic confidence and Nin Ni has a serene grace, Lacascade continued.

“We have a roster of spokes that is making our community quite intentionally different, but a modern vision of femininity,” she said.

To help tease the nominations of Moore and Saldaña on social platforms, about a thousand boxes of Absolue Longevity MD product were sent to influencers, editors and medical experts. In a twist, they were misaddressed name-wise to Moore or Saldaña.
