The Tampa Art Museum is hosting its 14th annual “City: Fashion+Art+Culture” event, a fundraising event that will feature a Balmain fashion show on March 29. The event will showcase the European luxury house’s spring 2025 collection and raise funds for the museum’s educational programs. The event is expected to draw 400 guests and will feature intricate embellishments and complex designs, including beaded and embroidered pieces. Proceeds from the event, which starts at $500 for a ticket and $75,000 for a presenting sponsor, will go towards the museum’s arts education programs. The event’s artistic director, Olivier Rousteing, will not attend the show, but representatives from the brand will be present. The museum is excited to host Balmain, citing the brand’s global following and the potential for future collaborations.
