Xuly Bët designer Lamine Badian Kouyaté presented his latest collection on the streets of Paris, featuring a diverse range of fabrics and silhouettes. The collection promotes sustainability by incorporating upcycled secondhand garments and reducing the use of spandex. The designs, which include leopard print tops, bold patterned jackets, and fuzzy leg warmers, are inspired by African culture and the designer’s desire to bring more diversity to the fashion industry. Kouyaté’s goal is to make fashion more inclusive and playful, with a focus on “old fashion” rather than new, trendy designs.
