To celebrate her milestone 10-year anniversary, luxury bridal designer Nardos Imam is welcoming guests to New York City’s Rainbow Room on Thursday to view her brand’s retrospective exhibition and debut of its newest bridal collection.
Imam’s key design signatures — fluid draping, dimensional floral embellishments and sculptural corsetry — will be on display not only through her new spring 2027 collection, but also via a selection of signature Nardos bridal gowns from the last decade. Furthermore, guests will also be treated to a display of the designer’s artistry, draping and construction techniques through Imam’s live “Art of the Making” demonstration in real time.

“The Rainbow Room has a circular, oval shape that rotates, so I want to invite people into what we do every day at our atelier. We’re bringing sewing machines and showing from the perspective of pencil drawing to what became the craft of making dresses. I want to bring the beginning and the end of the collection together to tell a story about the making of art,” Imam told WWD.
She added that while she initially dreamed of becoming a costume designer at a young age before pivoting to the bridal world, she has used imagination as her guide to navigate through the difficult fashion industry. Through her anniversary showing’s retrospective and live draping demonstration, she is able to show moments of magic through design.
“We’re based in Dallas, but when we opened [our store] four years ago in New York, that was a huge jump,” the Texas-based founder told WWD of milestones throughout her career, which also includes her debut runway show at The Plaza. As seen through her spring 2027 collection, the designer is looking forward to continuing to grow and evolve her brand for the next 10-plus years. “I want to be everywhere, but I don’t want to be everywhere,” she said of keeping her designs special, personal and limited for her global brides.
