Jordan Brand is celebrating the UCLA women’s basketball team’s dominance during March Madness. The squad bested the University of South Carolina on Sunday, earning the team its first NCAA Division I Championship in program history.

Jordan Brand celebrated the UCLA women’s basketball team on social media.
The Nike sub-line, which has been a sponsor for the team since 2021 following a separation from Under Armour, posted a video on social media in honor of Sunday’s win, which unfolded at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix and concluded with a score of 79-51.
NBA star and long-term Jordan Brand partner Russell Westbrook showed love for the team as the narrator of the video, saying, “This is a pyramid. It’s a complex symbol of achievement and excellence. Let me explain. You’re at the bottom. We’re at the top. Any questions?”
In addition to a pyramid, the video featured clips of the Bruins showcasing their talents on the court.

Among the UCLA Bruins’ standout players are Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice, Gabriela Jaquez, Gianna Kneepkens and Charlisse Leger-Walker. Given the team’s partnership with Jordan Brand, which lasts until 2027, the players were decked out in UCLA-themed Jordans for the big game. Rice, who became Jordan Brand’s first NIL athlete in 2022, wore a blue and yellow player exclusive colorway of the hybrid Jordan 4028 sneaker, which combines the sole of the Jordan 40 and the upper of the 28 model, which features a foldover design.
