Daisy Edgar-Jones Wears Patent Leather Mules to a Schiaparelli Event

While Daisy Edgar-Jones isn’t afraid to experiment with new silhouettes, there’s one constant in her footwear lineup: black heels. This year alone, the “Normal People” actress has been spotted in everything from Valentino’s corset-style sandals to Bottega Veneta’s Sofia pumps — all in noir. And on Tuesday night, she kept the streak going, arriving at a gala dinner for the new exhibition “Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art” in a pair of black patent leather mules.

Edgar-Jones’ heels featured a low V-cut vamp — a standout detail in the footwear landscape this year, championed by designers like Chanel, Alaïa and Balenciaga. A single, slim strap stretched across the upper, leaning the mules a subtle mary jane-inspired feel. Set on a slender stiletto heel, the silhouette balanced polish with minimalism. Though the exact brands of Edgar-Jones’ mules remain unknown, labels like Michael Kors and Malone Souliers offer near-identical styles.

The British actress styled the patent leather mules with a look from Schiaparelli’s fall 2026 collection, opting for a beige set that included a fitted funnel-neck jacket with high-shine gold buttons and a matching midi skirt with an asymmetric hemline. Though the runway version was styled with a furry clutch, Edgar-Jones chose a sleek black leather alternative. She completed the ensemble with dangly earrings, rosy pink cheeks and a coral lip. Her brunette hair was worn in loose waves, with side bangs softly framing her face.

Schiaparelli’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, hosted the affair last night, with other celebrity guests including Gabbriette and Elizabeth Debicki, both also dressed in the fashion house’s creations. The event marked a significant moment for the brand, as it’s the first U.K. exhibition dedicated to Schiaparelli, featuring more than 200 objects from fashion, jewelry, art and furniture by Elsa Schiaparelli and Roseberry.
