Meghan Markle channeled her Montecito quiet luxury style in a dress by Ralph Lauren for The Alliance for Children’s Rights 34th annual Champions for Children on Thursday night in Beverly Hills.
The As Ever founder joined close friends like Kelly McKee Zajfen at the event. Understated elegance was Markle’s approach for her attire, wearing the strapless Shelly silk cady evening dress in navy from the American designer’s label.

Featuring a formfitting silhouette, the skirt of Markle’s dress flowed to a maxi cut, slightly revealing her strappy black Stuart Weitzman sandal heels. As for accessories, the Duchess of Sussex opted for gold pieces to accent her modern look.
The “With Love, Meghan” host wore vintage Chanel gold button earrings, a Cartier love yellow gold bracelet and added a final sentimental touch with the gold tank Française watch — a piece that previously belonged to Markle’s late mother-in-law Princess Diana.

Ralph Lauren designs have become a staple part of Markle’s wardrobe. Since the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Markle’s husband of nearly eight years, stepped back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family in 2020, Markle’s style has since gravitated toward quiet luxury and easy California-inspired pieces.
Roughly one year ago at the 2025 Time 100 Summit in New York City, Markle wore a Ralph Lauren suit featuring such pieces as the Russell silk-linen twill jacket paired with extra-wide-leg trousers.
