When I think Hailey Bieber nails, my mind goes a lot of places. There are visions of glaze, obviously—but that’s not all! From polka dots and butter yellow shades to chocolate-y browns and “pink sugar” finishes, she’s done a lot for the nail art community.

Hailey Bieber’s Custom Red Manicure

The mani was the work of Bieber’s go-to nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt. Featuring the model’s typical long-almond nail shape, each finger received an opaque and ultra-glossy coat of a deep orange-y red polish that the artist dubbed “rusty red.”
To make things even more fun, the manicure was paired with a strapless, beaded and sequined cheetah print custom Armani gown. Hollywood’s biggest night often inspires some Old Hollywood cosplay, and this was a fun way for Bieber to get in on the mood while sticking with her personal style.

To copy Bieber’s mani exactly, Ganzorigt says to begin with one coat of OPI GelColor Super Base Base Coat. Then, you’ll mix equal parts of the classic red OPI GelColor in Big Apple Red, deep espresso brown OPI GelColor in Espresso Your Inner Self, and sun-kissed tan OPI GelColor in Endless Sun-ner to create that “custom rusty red shade.”

If you want that ultra-shiny look, this might be a tutorial best suited for your gel nail artist. But you can definitely still try it with regular polishes at home! All colors are available in normal lacquer format.
