Chase Infiniti Went “Whimsical” For Her First Ever Oscars Makeup Look

Key Takeaways

  • Chase Infiniti matched her soft purple gown with a glowy, skin-first makeup look for the 2026 Oscars.
  • Celebrity makeup artist Amber Dreadon told us all about her glam—and the skin prep that came before it.

Have you seen One Battle After Another? If you haven’t, you really should. Then, you can have even more of a ball appreciating each and every one of its star’s looks. No, not Leo. Chase Infiniti! The 25-year-old’s reign as the toast of Hollywood is just beginning, and it’s a role she was born to inhabit.

On Sunday, March 15, Infiniti showed up to her first Oscars in a custom Louis Vuitton gown. Her hair was worn long and braided, and her makeup echoed the soft purple tone of her dress.

As celebrity makeup artist Amber Dreadon noted, the whole thing gave “whimsy”—and we have all the details.

The Inspiration

“I wanted to create a look that was skin-focused and whimsical with gentle washes of color that felt young and fresh,” Dreadon tells Byrdie exclusively.

This meant lips with a jelly finish that felt “very modern and youthful” and a glistening glow.

“We have been loving K-beauty style veiled blush so that felt like the right choice for this look,” added the artist.

The Skin Prep

Before she got into makeup, Dreadon applied Summer Fridays’ Jet Lag Eye Mask on her client and used the NuFace Trinity device to sculpt and lift her skin.

“Skin prep is always the most important part of the makeup look for me. If skin is treated right before makeup everything will sit better and look fresher,” she explained. “I started using the NuFace Trinity device to lift and sculpt the face prior to skincare. I have used NuFace for many years and it’s such a trusted go-to device for me prior to big events. The difference is noticeable immediately!”

Post NuFace facial, more Summer Fridays skincare was used to make sure Infiniti’s skin was glowy as can be.

“The goal was to create skin that felt fresh, lush and super hydrated almost as if it were lit from within, giving her an airy, modern glow,” the artist added.

We can also thank Louis Vuitton for that purple eye shadow. Dreadon delicately applied a soft wash of color from the LV Ombres Eyeshadow Palettes in #450 Cosmic Dreams and #150 Beige Momento

“Softly diffused eyes with a nod to the shade of the dress and delicate definition kept the look ethereal and romantic, while subtly sculpted features and a pillowy, natural lip added just the right touch of polish,” she noted. “The overall effect felt dreamy and weightless, enhancing Chase’s natural beauty while maintaining a sense of softness and youthful elegance.”

Said pillowy lips featured Louis Vuitton Lipstick in Shade 101, Kiss the Sky. What a name, huh?

“The goal was for her to feel light and airy, so hopefully that’s how she felt once she hit the carpet!” Dreadon added.

I can’t speak to how she felt, but this whole setup is certainly making me feel buoyant. Cheers to Chase Infiniti, and that’s it. There’s no need to go beyond.
