Solange Knowles Stars in New Nike + Jacquemus Moon Shoe Drop

Jacquemus and Nike are back with new colors of their sold-out Moon Shoe collaboration – this time with Solange Knowles as the face of the release.

On Monday, the two companies released its new Moon Shoe campaign featuring the multi-hyphenate artist wearing the three new colorways of the sneaker – brown, Sail and pink for spring 2026.

“Three years ago, when I first visited the Nike archives, I discovered an iconic piece, the Moon Shoe, timeless yet modern in its simplicity and execution,” designer Simon Porte Jacquemus said in a statement on Monday. “I immediately saw the opportunity to write a new story and reinterpret it in our own way.”

The Moon Shoe, originally handmade by Nike cofounder Bill Bowerman for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials, was Nike’s first sneaker to incorporate its famed waffle sole innovation. Jacquemus has given it a modern ballet spin with a ruched nylon upper, elasticized back and Nike Grind outsole.

“Today, as we enter the second chapter of this collaboration, the Moon Shoe will be released in brown and white, alongside a pale pink edition,” Jacquemus added. “The choice of pale pink is rooted in the Jacquemus DNA as a sensual and naïve color that brings softness and intimacy to the silhouette, reshaping the icon through our own lens.”

This latest release is not the first time Jacquemus and Nike used star power to highlight their ongoing collaboration. For the duo’s first Moon Shoe release last fall, the two labels tapped actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez to front the debut campaign. In the spot shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the campaign shows Chavez, who starred in the Netflix series “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” putting the sneaker through its paces in a dance studio and outdoors.

This newest launch marks the fifth footwear collaboration between the two labels, following the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1, J Force 1, Air Humara and first Moon Shoe drop last year. In November, the duo teamed up again in the 18-piece Nike x Jacquemus Après Ski apparel collection, ranging from Gore-Tex jackets to stirrup leggings.

The new colorways of the Nike + Jacquemus Moon Shoe are now available at Jacquemus.com and across Jacquemus retail. The brown and Sail colorways will launch March 16 across the Snkrs app and select Nike retail locations, including Nike Women King’s Road and all NikeLab locations.
